The clothing indicates this may be a Victorian era couple. It is set in a time when couples had a picnic under the tree and took walks in the garden. One can imagine any story that comes to mind as this piece is very thought provoking.
The inside wire of the sculpture copies the form of the cameo.The outside wire brings the scene together with a hug.The cameo is wrapped in 14 Kt gold filled wire and measures about 2 ¼ inches (59mm) long and is about 1 3/8 inches (35mm) wide.
